Ok, Before anyone wants to do anything on building a microchip, We have to get our components. The most important component in the ENTIRE microchip is a multi-meter. It is necessary to have one so if any of your components or accessory's get faulty, you can detect it.
Stuff you should look for in multimeters:
1. It should be digital if you want accurate readings.
2. It should have at least two probes, or you can also get them seperately.
3. It should have a stand, so it is easier to view the information when testing components.
4. It should have a DCV, ACV, DCA, ACA, Resistance, Capacitance and Frequency (Dont worry if you have never seen them before. I'll explain later.)
